Data & AI Architect
to join our passionate team and define the architecture underpinning our digital and analytical ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture:
Support and design our Enterprise Data Strategy across data lake, data warehouse, and delta lakehouse structures.
- Cloud & AI Engineering:
Evolve our Azure cloud-native data platform to enable ingestion, curation, and analytical/generative AI use cases.
- Agentic & Traditional AI:
Partner with Data Science and domain teams to architect agentic AI systems and automated decision flows.
- Governance & Regulatory Integrity:
Ensure end-to-end architectures are explainable, secure, and compliant with Lloyd’s and FCA regulatory expectations.
- Technical Leadership:
Act as a trusted champion alongside the Head of AI Enablement,



mentoring data engineers and data scientists in contemporary architectural disciplines.

What We Are Looking For
- Cloud Expertise:
Extensive experience architecting Data & AI solutions in
Azure
(Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks/Spark, SQL Server).
- Data Modeling:
Deep expertise in complex data modeling, delta lakehouses, master data management, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- AI/ML Tooling:
Experience with MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Azure ML) and LLM Ops (LangChain, Vector DBs, RAG).
- Agentic Systems:
Familiarity with agentic AI orchestration (e.g., AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGraph).
- Insurance Domain Knowledge:
Experience in London Market, UK Commercial, or Reinsurance (familiarity with Lloyd's CDR, DDM, or Blueprint Two is a strong plus).
