About the Role:

Backdropsource is looking for a Junior Data Analyst / Data Engineer to work hands-on with business data — analyse & transform unstructured to structured data, building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating with RDBMS/NoSQL DB, generating reports and dashboards supporting e-commerce, marketing, sales, products, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to migrate and sync data from multiple sources.
- Set up and manage RDBMS/NoSQL tables, schemas, and warehouses following data modeling best practices.
- Integrate with third-party and internal APIs including Shopify, marketing platforms, and CRM/ERP tools to pull and load data on scheduled or event-driven workflows.
- Write and optimize SQL for transformations, migrations, and recurring data workflows.
- Support data migration projects including mapping, validation,



and reconciliation between legacyand new systems.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data-quality issues at the source.
- Analyze business performance data and identify actionable insights.
- Document data sources, table schemas, API integrations, and pipeline processes.
- Collaborate with teams across e-commerce, marketing, sales, products, and operations to develop practical data solutions.

Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, BI, or related roles.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling principles.
- Experience with APIs and data integrations is preferred.
- Experience with Python/Pandas or similar data tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
