Test Engineer : Control PTT Team

Technical Competencies:

• Basic architecture of 800xA,

• Deep understanding in at least one of the communication protocols as : e.g. Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, IAC , OPC UA, IEC61850 etc

• Understanding about the controller family and the technical artifacts

• Understand product requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases

• Field experience can be considered as an add-on.

• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases

• Validate UI/UX consistency and usability issues

• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements

Understanding of Process:

• Basic idea about the Test Process

• Basic idea about the SDLC model





• Basic idea about the defect lifecycle

• Prepare test reports and maintain documentation of test results

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing

•

Optional Competencies:

• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, etc.)

• Knowledge of performance or security testing basics
