Role & Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize, and scale Amazon EKS clusters for high-availability production workloads.
- Implement contemporary scaling solutions such as Karpenter, HPA, PodDisruptionBudgets, and topology spread constraints.
- Build and maintain observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
- Create dashboards and alerts to monitor service health, infrastructure performance, and system throughput.
- Implement cloud security best practices using Network Policies, AWS Secrets Manager, IAM, and IRSA.
- Build and maintain GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
- Support production reliability of stateful workloads including Amazon Aurora/RDS, ElastiCache Redis, and messaging platforms like Kafka/Pulsar.
- Work on backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes using tools such as Velero.
- Manage AWS infrastructure components such as VPC Endpoints, WAF, EBS gp3, and IAM policies.
- Collaborate closely with application, product, and engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and platform performance.




- Drive automation, standardization, and operational excellence across infrastructure and deployment workflows.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
- Experience with EKS cluster upgrades, RBAC, workload isolation, and multi-AZ deployments.
- Good understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, container orchestration, and platform reliability.
- Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as IAM, Secrets Manager, VPC, WAF, RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache, and EBS.
- Experience in scaling and securing production infrastructure.
- Exposure to distributed messaging systems such as Kafka or Apache Pulsar will be preferred.
- Experience in disaster recovery, backup validation, and infrastructure testing will be an advantage.
