Role & responsibilities
- Operate welding robots in accordance with company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Programming robots to weld parts
- Maintain a clean and protected work area, adhering to 5S principles
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration on welding equipment and robots
- Load and unload parts onto welding fixtures, ensuring proper part orientation
- Monitor robotic welding process and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality welds are produced
- Inspect completed welds for defects and perform rework as necessary
- Record data from each welding cycle in the appropriate logbook
- Communicate with other members of the team to coordinate workflow and avoid potential hazards
- Assist in training new team members on proper welding techniques and robot operation
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap




- Work with engineering and quality teams to resolve welding issues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred candidate profile
- High school diploma or equivalent- DME/DEE
- Proven welding experience with robotic welding & basic understanding of welding process MIG/MAG (SKS & Fronius Power source with Fanuc & Motoman Robot),
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Previous experience programming welding robot(s) on Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB etc.
- Previous experience with robotic welding systems (SKS & Fronius Power source with Fanuc & Motoman Robot)
- Previous experience with MIG and TIG Welding
- Working knowledge of welding tools and equipment
