The Role
As a Trueport Operator (DA & Port Costs Operator), you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our customers experience the full value of trueports platform. Youll collaborate with port agents and shipanagers/shipowners, manage port costs, and deliver transparency and efficiency across every transaction.
What Youll Do
- Benchmark and optimize pricing across the trueport agency network
- Review and validate Disbursement Accounts (DAs) in line with trueport SOPs and principles
- Partner with port agents to deliver seamless execution of the trueport value proposition
- Monitor and report on KPIs for operations, customers, and agents
- Coordinate with port cost teams to manage husbandry and commercial port cost needs
- Work cross-functionally to ensure client requirements are met
- Conduct KYC processes for onboarding new customers and agents
- Manage prefunding and reconciliation of payments to port agents
- Review charter parties to identify cost recovery opportunities for customers
- Ensure proactive accuracy of port costs from enquiry to reconciliation
- Investigate discrepancies in DA expenses and identify root causes
- Execute special tasks and projects in accordance with instructions from the line manager
- Contribute to the development of current or the amendment of existing procedures
- Promote and support efforts for continual improvement
