Role Description




The Electrical Design Engineer will work full time on-site at SATCON’s Kolkata office, contributing to design and engineering deliverables for extra high voltage substations (AIS/GIS) and overhead transmission and distribution line projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing electrical layouts and single-line diagrams, performing design calculations, and preparing detailed engineering documentation for power distribution and high-voltage systems. The role involves coordinating with civil and structural teams, using industry-standard software tools, and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. The Electrical Design Engineer will review and update drawings, support project planning and technical reports, and collaborate with project managers and clients to resolve design issues and optimize solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
