Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Assistant Housekeeper Manager

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and assigned public areas in immaculate condition, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, comfort, and presentation in accordance with the luxury standards of Distrikt-9 Hotels & Resorts. The role plays a vital part in delivering an outstanding guest experience through attention to detail, efficiency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean, service, and prepare assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, replace linens, towels, and guest amenities.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, balconies, and other room areas.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish furniture, fixtures, and floors.
- Replenish minibar items, tea/coffee amenities, toiletries, and other guest supplies as required.
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality,



and readiness before guest arrival.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, lost and found items, or safety hazards immediately.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for room cleaning and sanitization.
- Handle guest requests courteously and promptly while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
- Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are organized, clean, and fully stocked.
- Adhere to hotel health, hygiene, safety, and environmental policies.
- Support deep-cleaning schedules and special housekeeping projects as assigned.
- Coordinate effectively with the Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry departments to ensure seamless guest service.

Qualifications
- High school / Diploma / Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality workplace is an advantage.
