Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Resolve process and quality issues related to gear manufacturing.

Stay updated on the latest machining technologies, cutting tool materials, and tool geometries.

Conduct training programs on tools, tooling, and emerging industry trends.

Identify and implement tool life improvement projects and evaluate alternate tooling technologies.

Drive defect identification, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Lead new model machining setup, line setup, and production ramp-up activities.

Improve capacity through debottlenecking and process improvement initiatives.

Implement and sustain a zero-rejection manufacturing concept.

Drive revenue and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Generate, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement ideas.

Collaborate with support functions and resolve issues through cross-functional team (CFT) engagement.

Promote and strengthen a protected working culture across the plant.

Develop and sustain a continuous improvement culture.





Ensure knowledge and adherence to quality systems through regular reviews.

Drive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation in machining operations.

Lead projects focused on tool cost reduction, power cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Benchmark best practices across plants and industries to achieve manufacturing excellence.

Ensure thorough knowledge and compliance with QS 9000, DCP, PFMEA, and Control Plan requirements.

Drive productivity improvements through regular review of key performance indicators such as OLE and OEE.
