ROLE SUMMARY

The Sales and Service Engineer will be responsible for generating and closing sales of XRF and related analytical instruments, as well as their installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance at customer sites across South and West India.

The role involves identifying and developing current business, close coordination with customers, providing training and application support, conducting machine demonstrations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective technical and sales support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES

Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities for XRF and related analytical instruments across South and West India.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

Conduct customer visits,



understand requirements, and recommend suitable instruments and configurations.

Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and orders through to closure.

Conduct machine demonstrations at customer sites and exhibitions to support the sales process.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.

Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends, and share inputs with the sales and management team.

Coordinate with the factory and head office on order execution, delivery timelines, and payment follow-up.

Maintain accurate sales pipeline, visit reports, and CRM records.

SERVICE

Install, commission, and service XRF and related analytical instruments at customer sites.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical faults in the machinery and accurately pinpoint the root causes of issues.
