Job Purpose

The Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing, modifying, reviewing, and maintaining detailed engineering and structural drawings for bridge and railway infrastructure projects. The role will involve close coordination with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely preparation of drawings as per project requirements and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for railway bridges, ROBs, RUBs, flyovers, culverts, underpasses, and other civil/structural infrastructure works.
- Prepare and modify General Arrangement Drawings (GADs), structural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and reinforcement detailing.
- Develop drawings for bridge substructures and superstructures, including foundations, piles, pile caps, piers, pier caps, abutments, deck slabs, and girders.
- Prepare construction drawings, working drawings, reinforcement drawings, and as-built drawings as required.




- Review engineering and construction drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Incorporate comments and revisions received from engineers, consultants, clients, and site teams.
- Coordinate with design and project teams to resolve drawing-related issues and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
- Maintain proper drawing registers, revision records, and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing drawings and presentations for project review meetings and client discussions.
- Work with relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and other engineering/drafting tools as required.
- Prepare drawings in accordance with applicable Indian Railways, IRC, IS Codes, and project-specific standards.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager / Higher Management.
