Job Overview

We are looking to hire an experienced technical resource with strong expertise in the FICO Decision Modeler / Decision Management Platform, specializing in BRE rule and scorecard development for lending use cases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building complex business rules and scorecards, testing them, and supporting integrations in a NBFC or banking workplace.

Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex BRE rules, rule flows, and decision strategies on the FICO Decision Modeler / BRE platform
- Build and enhance application and behavioural scorecards as part of decisioning solutions
- Translate business and credit policy requirements into configurable BRE logic
- Perform sanity testing and validation of developed rules using Postman
- Support JSON-based REST API integrations with upstream and downstream systems
- Conduct impact analysis, rule optimization, and version control
- Work closely with business, credit policy and analytics
- Support UAT, production deployment, and post-production issues




- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to governance and audit standards

Preferred candidate profile
- 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience with the FICO Decision Modeler Platform.
- Strong expertise in building and managing complex business rules and scorecards on the BRE platform.
- Proven experience in lending rule development within Banks or NBFCs.
- Exposure to Credit Risk, Underwriting, and Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
- Hands-on experience in testing and validating BRE rules using Postman.
- Good understanding of JSON-based RESTful APIs and integration concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC, change management, and release management processes.
- Experience in supporting multiple projects and environments simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
