Job Summary
The AV/VC Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, operation, and support of enterprise Audio-Visual and Video Conferencing solutions. This role ensures seamless collaboration experiences across meeting rooms, townhalls, executive setups, and hybrid work environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise VC platforms.
Key Responsibilities
AV / VC Operations & Support
Provide L2/L3 support for Audio Visual and Video Conferencing systems across meeting rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, and auditoriums
Proactively monitor and troubleshoot AV/VC incidents to ensure high availability and minimal downtime
Support Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR – Windows/Android), Zoom Rooms, Webex Rooms, and SIP-based VC systems
Perform break-fix support for cameras, microphones, speakers, control panels, codecs, and displays
Meeting Room & Collaboration Systems
Configure, maintain, and optimize conference room technologies including:
Displays & video walls
Wireless presentation systems (Barco ClickShare, Crestron AirMedia, etc.)
DSPs and room control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX)
Ensure seamless integration with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook room booking, Exchange)
Support executive meetings, VIP sessions, townhalls, and large-scale broadcasts
Deployment & Projects
Lead or support AV/VC rollouts for current offices, expansions, or room upgrades
Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and facilities teams for installation and commissioning
Participate in standardization and modernization initiatives (room templates, device standards, automation)
Support testing, UAT, and handover to operations
Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
Use monitoring tools to track room health, device status, and usage analytics
Prepare SOPs, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides
Track SLAs, MTTR, and user experience metrics
Support audits, compliance, and asset lifecycle management
