Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Installation: Read engineering drawings and blueprints to assemble metal components, tools, and mechanical sub-assemblies to close tolerances.
- Fabrication & Shaping: Cut, shape, file, drill, grind, and thread metals using hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop machinery like lathes and drill presses.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, diagnose mechanical faults, and repair or replace worn-out parts to minimize equipment downtime.
- Quality Control: Measure finished components using precision measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Safety Compliance: Follow workshop safety rules, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a hazard-free work environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Pass out from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the Fitter trade with a 10th-grade baseline education.
- Technical Skills: Robust capability to read technical schematics, handle precision measuring tools, and perform basic welding or fabrication.
- Physical Fitness: Stamina and hand-eye coordination for standing, lifting, and operating heavy tools.
