Position Overview

Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day financial activities of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all finance operations. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, financial systems, and transaction processing, supporting the overall financial health and performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations Management
- Lead and manage the finance operations team, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, cash management, and financial systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.

2. Process Improvement & Automation




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline finance operations and enhance efficiency.
- Implement and maintain financial systems, automation tools, and reporting solutions.
- Partner with IT and other departments to integrate finance systems with broader business platforms (ERP, CRM, etc.).

3. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks through effective control frameworks.

4. Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance operations team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure finance operations support strategic objectives.
