Job title: Installation Design Civil Engineer

As the Installation Design Civil Engineer at Bloom Energy, you will lead Civil Engineering designs for Bloom Energy fuel cell installation projects. You will be part of a highly creative and efficient design team tasked with solving problems and challenging the status quo. You will have a direct impact on the design of sites, provide technical design guidance and vendor oversight, solve large-scale implementation issues, and build a solid understanding of Bloom Energy program requirements. The Installation Design Civil Engineer must bring a strong understanding of a broad set of engineering and construction solutions and have the ability to manage the internal design and external customer process.



This position will interface with a larger site installation design team: multi-discipline engineers, utility specialists, permitting specialists, project managers, and construction supervisors.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare a design plan set and specifications, including but not limited to, grading, drainage, and foundations for the installation of Bloom Energy fuel cell systems to be used for application submission for Utility, Building Department/AHJ review and permitting and ultimately Construction.
