About the Role
We're hiring an experienced
Structural & Miscellaneous Steel Estimator
to join a growing US commercial construction team. This is a senior-level opportunity for professionals who can independently manage the complete estimating process—from reviewing drawings and performing quantity takeoffs to preparing accurate, competitive bids.

A fast-growing US-based construction services company specializing in preconstruction, estimating, and project support for commercial construction projects. The team partners with leading contractors to deliver accurate, technology-driven estimating solutions across structural steel and specialty trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity takeoffs for
structural steel and miscellaneous metals
.
- Review architectural, structural, and civil drawings along with project specifications.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and competitive bid proposals.
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks, and value engineering opportunities.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the bidding process.
Requirements
✔ 5+ years of experience estimating
structural steel and miscellaneous metals
.
✔ Ability to independently manage multiple bids with minimal supervision.
✔ Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Technical Skills
- Bluebeam Revu (mandatory)
- Microsoft Excel & MS Office
- Experience with estimating software (preferred)
- Procore experience is a plus
