Science Teacher Specialist – Biology

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Biology Specialist to teach and inspire students through engaging, student-centered instruction. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment tofostering scientific curiosity and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Biology lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Teach concepts in cell biology, genetics, ecology, human physiology, biotechnology, and evolution.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and laboratory activities.
- Conduct practical experiments while ensuring laboratory safety protocols arefollowed.
- Assess student learning through tests, assignments, projects, and practical evaluations.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Use modern teaching methodologies, digital tools, and interactive learning techniques.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams, where applicable.




- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.
- Participate in curriculum planning, faculty meetings, and school events.
- Stay updated with advancements in biological sciences and educational practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (preferred or mandatory, depending on institutional requirements).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience (preferred).
- Strong command of Biology concepts and practical applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching platforms and educational technology.
