As a data engineer within our Contract Logistics Global Reporting team, you will implement and evolve contemporary data archietcture and pipelines that provide the source-of-truth data regarding shipments across the company. Working within an established BI landscape and driving the evolution towards a cloud-native stack centred on Dagster, dbt, Snowflake, and AWS, you will ensure that data flows reliably from diverse source systems into curated data products, fitting the needs of a data-driven logistics enterprise.



You will ensure cloud-based infrastructure is utilised as efficiently as possible across data science products and projects, enabling downstream BI consumers and analysts to make timely, data-driven decisions.

How you create impact
- Implement and model analytical output ports for our data products, ensuring they are discoverable and consumable across domains
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Dagster as the primary orchestration framework, progressively modernising existing ETL workflows
- Build and manage data transformation layers using dbt, ensuring well-tested, documented, and version-controlled models
- Ensure proper operation and evolution of data models and resulting data sets, maintaining them as the source of truth for shipment data
- Architect and optimise Snowflake data warehouse structures including schemas, tables, views, and materialisation strategies
- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure components supporting the data platform (S3, Lambda, IAM, EC2,
