The Riveting, Gluing & Torque Tightening Supervisor is responsible for supervising riveting, adhesive bonding (gluing), and torque tightening activities in railway manufacturing projects. The role ensures all assembly operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily riveting, adhesive bonding (gluing), and torque tightening operations.
- Ensure all assembly activities are performed as per engineering drawings, work instructions, and process standards.
- Allocate manpower and monitor productivity to achieve daily production targets.
- Verify proper selection, mixing, application, and curing of structural adhesives.
- Ensure riveting quality and compliance with approved riveting procedures.
- Supervise torque tightening activities using calibrated torque wrenches and power tools as per specified torque values.
- Maintain torque tightening records and ensure full traceability where required.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning,



and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
- Conduct in-process inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE usage, and 5S practices.
- Train operators on riveting, gluing, torque tightening, and standard operating procedures.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain process documentation.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits (IRIS, ISO 9001, EN 15085, etc.).

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in railway, automotive, heavy engineering, or similar manufacturing industries.
