About the Role

We are looking for a
detail-oriented Bookkeeper
to join our growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will be part of our Chennai-based outsourcing team,



working closely with our UK counterparts to deliver high-quality financial support. You’ll handle daily bookkeeping functions, support monthly reporting, and communicate with UK clients—all while being trained on UK accounting systems and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
- Perform daily bookkeeping: bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and payroll support
- Record journal entries and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
- Use cloud-based accounting software like
Xero
and
QuickBooks
- Liaise with UK clients and accountants in a timely and qualified manner
- Maintain organized digital records and uphold internal process standards

What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries
