Ace Brain Technologies is looking for an experienced Design Engineer Seating Structure with hands-on expertise in CATIA V5. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing seat structural components, creating 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings while ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

Role & responsibilities
- Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5.
- Design and develop automotive seat structural sheet metal components.
- Perform part and assembly design with focus on manufacturability.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Conduct tooling and assembly feasibility studies.
- Ensure compliance with FMVSS, ECE, and other automotive safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation.




- Work closely with cross-functional teams including CAE, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- Participate in design reviews and implement engineering changes.

Preferred candidate profile
- Robust hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
- Good understanding of Automotive Seating Structure design.
- Experience in Sheet Metal Design and Assemblies.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and drafting standards.
- Understanding of welding, fastening, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in release and change management processes.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
