We are seeking a skilled and motivated Highway Design Engineer with 6–8 years of professional experience in roadway and transportation infrastructure projects in Denmark. The ideal candidate will have robust technical expertise in highwaygeometric design, proficiency in Bentley Openroads and MicroStation, and experience working on projects for Vejdirektoratet (VD) and Danish municipalities.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop highway,road, and transportation infrastructure projects from concept through detailed design.
- Prepare geometric road designs,alignments, corridors, cross-sections, and other models using Bentley Openroads Designer and MicroStation.
- Deliver designs in accordance with Danish road standards, municipality requirements, and VD guidelines.
- Produce technical drawings, BIM models, and quantity calculations.
- Participate in planningstudies, feasibility assessments, and tender documentation.
- Collaborate with municipalities, consultants, and publicstakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Danish regulations, sustainability goals, and safety standards.





Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or master’s degreein Transportation Engineering.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in highway/road design projects.
- Proven experience working on Danish infrastructure projects for Vejdirektoratet and municipalities.
- Strong proficiency in: BentleyOpenroads designer, MicroStation, or other roadway design software is considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Danish road design standardsand infrastructure regulations.
- Ability to managemultiple tasks and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motorway, urban road, intersection, and roundabout design.
- Bicycle infrastructure, road rehabilitation and expansion projects.
- Familiarity with ProjectWise, Auto TURN or similardesign management tools.
