Roles And Responsibilities
- The MPS Process Designer is responsible for creating the drawings related to the MPS Process Engineering discipline, such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID;), Process Safety Diagrams (PSD) and Block Flow Diagrams (BFD) using CAD & Intelligent P&ID; software (Aveva). With inputs from the MPS Process Engineer, the MPS Process Designer should be able to create the process engineering drawings within the time frame required and with the expected quality. The MPS Process Designer functions as a design drafter for routine corrections.
- The MPS Process Designer is responsible for defining the required administration activities associated with AutoCAD and Intelligent P&ID; applications (Aveva) in the MPS Process Engineering discipline. It includes preparing blocks, attributes, templates, etc. for Onshore and/or Offshore projects.
