Job Summary

SunTrop Solar is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to design Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, AutoCAD, and power system design.

Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for Solar PV and BESS projects.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Perform cable sizing, protection coordination, earthing, and voltage drop calculations.
- Design and integrate HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, and protection devices.
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, utilities, and project execution teams.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, CEA, and utility standards.

Required Skills
- AutoCAD (Mandatory)




- Solid knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems
- Transformer sizing and integration
- Solar PV and BESS design
- Protection systems, switchgear, and electrical calculations
- Microsoft Excel & Word

Preferred
- Experience with ETAP, DIgSILENT, or EPLAN
- Knowledge of PVsyst and grid interconnection
- Experience in commercial & industrial solar or energy storage projects

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in Solar EPC, Power Systems, or BESS

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
