Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, tech-savvy, and highly presentable Business Development Associate to drive our growth in Chennai. In this role, you will be the face of Talherova, identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building lasting partnerships with organizations in need of top-tier technical talent. You will manage the end-to-end initial sales cycle—from cold outreach to scheduling and attending client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and research potential B2B clients (IT decision-makers, HR Heads, Project Managers) using various media channels, LinkedIn, and business databases.

Cold Calling & Outreach: Conduct high-volume, high-quality cold calls and email campaigns to introduce Talherova’s resource deployment and IT service solutions.

Meeting Scheduling: Strategically schedule discovery calls and presentations for the senior management team.

Client Meetings & Travel: Represent Talherova professionally in face-to-face client meetings, pitches,



and networking events (requires local and occasional outstation travel).

Database & CRM Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospect interactions, pipeline status, and lead progression using modern CRM tools.

Proactive Market Intelligence: Stay updated on IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to refine outreach strategies and anticipate client needs before they arise.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in B2B business development, IT sales, tech staffing, or a related field. (Exceptional freshers with a strong aptitude for sales and technology are encouraged to apply).

Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English (proficiency in Tamil is a strong advantage).

Presentation Skills: Excellent, confident, and highly presentable demeanor with the ability to deliver compelling, qualified pitches to corporate clients.
