The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the logistics industry and the ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers while ensuring efficient freight movement across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and secure freight loads from shippers and customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and clients.
- Negotiate freight rates to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate and monitor shipments from pickup to delivery.
- Resolve transportation issues and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and update load information in company systems.
- Ensure timely communication with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
