Job Title:
We are looking for a Diploma/Engineer who can work for Centrifugal Compressor packages in Gas and Process division, Mechanical Team.
The Role:
You will handle projects for design and development, interact with Team leaders and customers, and present & discuss the proposed designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the scope of work for custom design projects from the Project Leader
- Interpret the work breakdown structure (WBS) and develop a structured execution plan.
- Provide accurate effort estimation and timelines to support project planning.
- Prepare manufacturing and engineering drawings in line with customer specifications.
- Submit design deliverables for internal and customer review; incorporate feedback and obtain approval.
- Present progress and milestone updates to the Lead Engineer / Project Leader and implement required changes.
- Maintain daily status updates and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
Design 2d and 3D modelling Capabilities
- Preparation of compressor package General Arrangement (GA) and foundation drawings.
- Design and detailing of base frames and fabrication drawings.
- Hands-on experience in 2D drafting and 3D CAD modelling tools
- Development of 3D models and 2D drawings for piping systems, including:
- Cooling water systems
- Lube oil systems
- Inter-stage compressor piping
- Tubing layouts
Technical Knowledge Requirements
- Knowledge, ASME code related to pressure vessel, piping and its components , Lube oil system API 614, DIN and ISO standards.
