Role & responsibilities

• Minimum 2 3 years of being in ETL Testing role.
• Must have experience in data warehouse and ETL testing,
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and validation scripts for data accuracy, transformations, and aggregations.
• Collaborate with ETL Developers, Data Architects, and Product Owners to resolve discrepancies.
• Document validation results, maintain defect logs, and provide QA sign-off for data releases.
• Support automation of validation processes using SQL or other frameworks.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, provide QA estimates, and ensure data readiness for UAT (if applicable Skill
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and query-based testing.
• Experience in ETL / ELT data testing within Data Warehousing or BI projects.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (2-3+ years) as an ETL Tester, Data QA Analyst,



or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (write complex, optimized queries, stored procedures, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with data profiling, data validation, and data migration testing.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with testing dashboard frontends and backend services.
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to document issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred candidate profile

Valuable to Have:
• Experience in SQL Server and MySQL.
• Testing experience in SSIS
• Knowledge of Zappysys tool and JSON.
