About the Role

The role involves managing supplier quality through various assessments, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Analyze contracts, customer specifications, and quality standards to define program-specific quality requirements for suppliers and approve supplier quality plans.
- Supplier Qualification, conduct supplier audits, surveillance assessments and gap closures to qualify suppliers and maintain an updated Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), Receiving Inspections (RI), Source Inspections, and material testing to guarantee purchased products meet technical specifications.
- Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) for line/receiving defects, drive root cause analysis, and verify the effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
- Measure supplier quality metrics, conduct periodic reviews,



and enforce Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) for Supplier Performance & Continuous Improvement.
- Collaborate with Receiving Inspection and Supply Chain Management (SCM) to disposition blocked stock efficiently and minimize inventory delays to manage inventory and stock.
- Support cross functional deputed source personnel with suspect parts and configuration updates while collaborating with SCM and Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to mitigate risks.
- Act as SPOC and Accountable personnel for the overall aspect of program such as actions, Issues, Updates, communication etc. Ensuring compliance with TASL QMS/customer standards, and attending daily program meetings (CIB, MRB, RRCA) to update metrics and status.
