Azure Data & AI Engineer — Fabric and RAG

*Sole technical build engineer for Phase 1 pilot. Owns both grounding paths — the governed Microsoft Fabric structured path and the Azure AI Search document path — from ingestion through to evaluated, citable answers.*

Engagement context

You will be delivering Phase 1 of the Consumer Intelligence System (CIS) for Consumer Insights: a governed Microsoft Copilot Studio agent, grounded on Microsoft Fabric,



that answers consumer-intelligence questions for a single pilot category using cited, evidence-rated sources.

This is the sole dedicated build role on the engagement.
The Engagement Lead / Solution Architect owns the architecture, governance design, the Copilot Studio orchestration agent, and the client relationship. This role owns everything underneath that: the data foundation and both grounding paths that the agent depends on. It suits an engineer who is comfortable operating as the single technical owner of a build, working closely with an architect rather than within a large team.

Key responsibilities

Build Fabric Data Factory pipelines and Spark notebooks to ingest, parse, chunk, tag, and de-duplicate source content across bronze / silver / gold layers in OneLake.
