Job Title: Junior Production Merchandiser
Department: Production
Reporting To: Production Head
Location: Amraiwadi, Ahmedabad
Industry: Women’s Ethnic Wear (Outsourced Manufacturing Model)

Job Summary:

The Junior Production Merchandiser will assist in coordinating and monitoring the entire production process — from sample approval to bulk dispatch — across outsourced job workers. The role requires close coordination with the sampling, merchandising, and QC teams to ensure timely production and quality consistency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Production Coordination
- Support the Production Manager in daily production planning and execution.
- Coordinate with jobbers (stitching, embroidery, dyeing, handwork) for timely work progress.
- Update daily production sheet and pending job reports.

2. Sample & Approval Support
- Assist in preparing PP (Pre-Production) and size set samples.
- Record all sample approvals and maintain PP sample folders.
- Ensure approved PP samples are handed over to jobbers and QC.

3. Quality & Process Monitoring




- Support QC during inline and final inspections.
- Check that jobbers follow approved measurements and finishing standards.
- Report any quality or production issues to the Production Manager immediately.

4. Vendor / Jobber Communication
- Follow up with vendors for embroidery, stitching, and handwork completion.
- Maintain daily communication with jobbers for delivery schedules.
- Assist in vendor performance tracking and payment sheet updates.

5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain TNA (Time & Action) sheets and job slip registers.
- Record fabric issue/return slips, trimming details, and daily production entries.
- Prepare daily/weekly production summary reports for management review.

6. Department Coordination
- Coordinate with the sampling, merchandising, and QC teams for smooth workflow.
- Update management on production status, approvals, and delays.
