Biodiesel plants, AAST operator usually handles the reaction, separation, washing and distillation process for converting used cooking oil / crude palm oil to biodiesel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate and monitor AAST reactor, methanol recovery, glycerol separation, washing & drying columns

2. Take charge of batch loading - CPO / UCO, Methanol, Catalyst - NaOH / KOH as per SOP

3. Maintain reaction temperature 55°C - 65°C, pressure, RPM, reaction time in DCS/Panel

4. Do FAME testing, Glycerol % check, Water content, Acid Value at each stage

5. Operate Centrifuge, Vacuum Dryer, Heat Exchanger, Pumps, Blowers

Maintenance & Documentation

1. Do daily machine cleaning, grease, oil level check

2. Report breakdown to Mechanical/Electrical team immediately

3. Maintain batch sheet,



raw material consumption, yield register

4. Coordinate with Lab, Stores, ETP for material and quality
