Role Overview:
The Data Science Lead will drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and AI solutions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, guiding data scientists to deliver high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in machine learning, Generative AI, and up-to-date AI architectures, along with the ability to translate business problems into scalable data science solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of data science and AI solutions from problem definition to deployment
- Design and implement machine learning, statistical, and Generative AI models
- Drive adoption of LLMs and agentic frameworks to build intelligent, scalable applications
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, ensuring best practices and high-quality outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
- Oversee model deployment, monitoring, and optimization using cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)




- Establish best practices for model development, validation, and MLOps
- Stay updated with advancements in AI, GenAI, and data science, and bring innovation into projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field
- Strong expertise in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and related frameworks
- Proven experience in building and deploying one or more agentic AI solutions
- Familiarity with modern AI application architectures
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
- Strong programming skills in Python and data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
- Experience in leading or mentoring data science teams
- Experience in healthcare or life sciences domain
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
