Role Description

The Senior Medical Laboratory Technician is a full time, on-site position based in Belagavi, Karnataka.



The role is responsible for independently performing and supervising routine and specialized laboratory investigations while ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of test results. Responsibilities include specimen collection and processing; analysis of blood, urine, body fluids, and other clinical specimens; operation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and daily performance verification of laboratory analyzers and equipment; and strict adherence to quality assurance, biosafety, infection control, and laboratory regulatory requirements.

The Senior Medical Laboratory Technician will oversee day-to-day technical laboratory operations, supervise and mentor laboratory technicians and phlebotomists, review laboratory workflows to optimize efficiency, ensure accurate documentation through the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), monitor reagent and consumable inventory, and coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment downtime.
