The Electrical Trainer will be responsible for delivering, and managing the technical training framework for apprentices enrolled in the Electrical & Mechatronics trades and as well as driving Bobst Machine Operator and Process training Bobst Machine Operator training / Process training. This role combines practical, hands-on workshop instruction with theoretical knowledge to prepare apprentices for corporate manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with both national standards (NAPS and NATS) and international vocational benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery & Curriculum Management
- Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions for Electrical trade apprentices (covering basic electrical engineering, wiring, circuitry, control panels, and industrial automation).
- Follow VET Swiss-India apprenticeship defined Curriculum.
- Develop, update, and customize lesson plans, training modules, and workshop exercises.
- Ensure the training curriculum aligns with regulatory frameworks (such as NCVT/Directorate General of Training guidelines) and international vocational education standards (e.g., Swissmem / MSW frameworks if applicable).
- Train apprentices on the protected operation and maintenance of electrical testing equipment, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
2. Workshop & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, safety, and cleanliness of the Electrical training lab/workshop.
- Manage the inventory of training equipment, tools, and consumable materials; raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) for replenishment or upgrades.
- Ensure all machinery, control panels, and test benches are properly calibrated, maintained, and compliant with industrial safety standards.
- Responsible for OJT training on shop-floor.
3. Apprentice Assessment & Mentorship
- Design and execute periodic formative assessments, practical tests, and mock exams to evaluate apprentice progress.
