Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and research-driven Research Pharmacist to join the Clinical Research team at Jothydev's Diabetes Hospital and Research Centre. The candidate will play a key role in the management of investigational medicinal products (IMPs), ensuring compliance with clinical research protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. The Research Pharmacist will collaborate with investigators, study coordinators, and sponsors to support the protected and effective conduct of clinical trials, particularly in diabetes and related metabolic disorders.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, dispensing, accountability, and return/destruction of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.




- Review study protocols and pharmacy manuals to ensure compliance with clinical trial procedures.
- Dispense investigational products accurately as per protocol and maintain complete documentation of drug accountability.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, temperature monitoring, and inventory management of investigational products.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, logs, and documentation in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), institutional policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with principal investigators, clinical research coordinators, sponsors, and monitors regarding investigational product management.
- Participate in site initiation, monitoring, audit, and regulatory inspections related to pharmacy activities.
- Counsel study participants on the proper use, storage, administration, and adherence to investigational medications when required.
- Monitor investigational product inventory, expiry dates, reconciliation, and timely replenishment.
