About the Role: At SAGE University, we are looking for an experienced academician, legal scholar and administrator to lead the School of Law and Legal Studies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Bar Council of India (BCI) regulations and a passion for legal education, aiming to build a premier law institution in Central India.

Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all BCI, UGC, and State Government norms and manage inspection processes smoothly.
- Curriculum Development: Design and update the curriculum for B.A. LL.B (Hons), LL.B, and LL.M programs, integrating emerging legal fields (Cyber Law, IPR, Corporate Law).
- Research & Advocacy: Promote a culture of legal research,



guiding faculty and students to publish in reputed law journals and participate in national/international seminars.
- Departmental Management: Supervise faculty, handle student grievances, and drive the overall strategic growth of the Law School / Institute.

Qualifications & Experience: As per UGC Norms
- Education: Ph.D. in Law from a recognized University
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of total experience in legal education (a mix of academic leadership and legal practice/advocacy is highly preferred).
