Job Description
Looking for a Plant Manager with strong management skills who would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, from strategic planning and resource management to team leadership and continuous improvement. The position requires solid leadership, technical expertise, and a focus on achieving operational excellence while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

The position would report directly to the Managing Director of India.

Key Responsibilities
1. Broadly 5-6 plant functions will report into the plant head (Production, Operations, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, Utilities, Support Functions)
2. Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations of the plant, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics. Optimizing processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all local laws, regulations, and permits related to the manufacturing operations.
4. Team Leadership:



Leading and motivating a diverse team of employees, including supervisors, engineers, technicians, operators and workers.
5. Planning: Developing and implementing plans to achieve production targets and operational goals. Ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and market demands.
6. Resource Allocation: Managing resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials effectively.
7. Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
8. Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with internal stakeholders (such as senior management, other departments) to meet company goals. Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and service providers.
9. Financial Management: Managing the plant's budget and expenditures effectively.
