Roles & Responsibilities:Support functions for the Data Products Business of a leading sell-side research firm.
- Understanding the client’s proprietary equity valuation model and databases.
- Setting and maintaining automated reports for clients by writing/modifying advanced SQL queries on Gitlab; using databases hosted on Databricks.
- Handling voluminous data and creating interactive dashboards after performing necessary data validation checks.
- Working with domain expert/sector specialists/analysts to understand their data requirements and setting up reports as per their needs.
- Updating/integrating large datasets within client’s applications using flat files, database, or API connections.
- VBA, Python application development; database maintenance related activities according to the team’s requirements.
- Development/Support of IT systems,



Business Analysis, Client Interaction, Project coordination.

What are we looking for in you?
- Coding skills in SQL, Python/R and VBA
- Experience in Databricks platform and Gitlab version control
- Basic working knowledge of XML and Unix shell scripting
- Good understanding of financial markets,accounting concepts and equity valuation
- Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy; Diligence and hard work
- Should have excellent MS Office skills (including advanced Excel)
- The candidate should be open minded and willing to learn and grow on the role
