Responsibilities:
- Content writer is responsible for writing content for the brand and its products for various offline and online publications.
- Create / write recent content for assist marketing campaigns.
- Research industry-related topics.
- Write marketing copies to promote the brand and its products.
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles for images to go in articles.
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend current topics.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts,
images and tone) of the content.
- Update website content as needed.
Experience
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, copywriter or a similar role.
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experienced in doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress).
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism / mass communication or BA / MA in English literature.
