Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Data Engineering to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance data platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Databricks, combined with a passion for solving complex data engineering challenges and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and engineering solutions.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and advanced data transformations.
- Build robust data processing solutions using Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Databricks.
- Architect data solutions for large-scale analytics and time-series data processing.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices,



and maintain high code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive technical decisions, solution architecture, and Agile delivery practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering challenges with a hands-on approach.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and Advanced SQL.
- Extensive hands-on experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Databricks.
- Experience working with time-series data and advanced analytics.
- Robust understanding of Git, version control, and Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience designing scalable data architectures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
