Position - Data Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for data and application testing.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure application quality and business requirements are met.
- Validate data across multiple sources using SQL by performing data validation, reconciliation, profiling, and root cause analysis.
- Verify ETL processes, data transformations, and data migrations to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects while collaborating with developers, business analysts, and data engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test execution reports.
- Validate data quality rules, business rules, dashboards, reports, and KPIs to ensure reliable and accurate reporting.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide early feedback to improve testability and overall product quality.




- Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills
- Robust understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in SQL for backend testing, data validation, and database verification.
- Good understanding of ETL testing, data warehousing concepts, and data migration testing.
- Experience in defect management and test execution using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar ALM platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience working with Snowflake and Databricks for data validation and testing is preferred.
- Exposure to enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Workday, eFront, Paxus, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
