Job Description




The Database Extraction & Restoration Engineer is responsible for extracting, validating, and restoring data from various source systems into target platforms while ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance. This role involves working with large-scale healthcare and enterprise databases, troubleshooting extraction and restoration issues, and collaborating with project managers, developers, Data Migration Engineer, QA teams, and clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Database Extraction
- Extract data from source systems including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cache, and proprietary healthcare systems.
- Execute extraction utilities and custom scripts.
- Monitor extraction processes and troubleshoot failures.
- Validate extracted data against source systems.
- Generate extraction reports and row count validations.

Database Restoration
- Restore extracted data into target environments such as Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, a
