Job Title:
Lab Assistant – Milk Quality Testing

Location:
Tumkur

Role Objective




To
ensure milk quality and safety
at the
Bulk Milk Chilling (BMC) level
by conducting quality tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Milk Quality Testing
- Conduct daily tests including Fat, SNF, MBRT, adulteration, preservatives, and antibiotic checks.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in quality assessments.
- Data Management
- Systematically record milk quality parameters and test results.
- Prepare and submit reports to the BMC In-charge.
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain lactometers, Ekomilk analyzers, and other testing equipment.
- Regularly calibrate tools to ensure exact results.
- Hygiene & Safety Standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the lab, equipment, and BMC.
- Follow best practices in milk handling and quality assurance.
- Farmer Coordination
- Educate farmers on milk quality parameters and best stor
