Looking for a skilled Next.js Developer to build and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications. You'll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver modern, scalable front-end experiences that power Verisk's data and analytics products. This role is a strong fit for an engineer who takes ownership, cares about clean UI, and enjoys working in a fast-moving enterprise environment.

What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain web applications using Next.js and React
- Develop reusable, well-tested components and front-end architecture
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and API routes for performance and SEO
- Integrate with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into pixel-accurate, accessible interfaces
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies,



and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of front-end development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js and React (hooks, component lifecycle, state management)
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind)
- Solid understanding of SSR, SSG, and client-side rendering trade-offs
- Experience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and integrating third-party services
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and up-to-date build tooling
- Strong grasp of responsive design, web performance, and accessibility (WCAG) best practices

Nice to Have
- Sitecore experience (Sitecore XM/XP, headless/Sitecore JSS with Next.js) â strongly preferred
