Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Setter – Turning Center to independently handle machine setup, prove-out, and production activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of CNC Turning Centers, tooling selection, process optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure quality production with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up CNC Turning Center machines independently as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and GD&T.;
- Perform machine setting, tool offset correction, and first-piece approval.
- Select suitable cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures for different components.
- Optimize machining parameters to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot machining issues.
- Ensure component quality by using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicator.




- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain 5S, safety standards, and machine housekeeping.
- Guide and support machine operators during production.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC Turning Center setup and process optimization.
- Experience in Fanuc Control is mandatory (Mazatrol/Siemens knowledge is an added advantage).
- Good understanding of tooling, inserts, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T.;
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Leadership skills to guide operators and improve productivity.

Qualification
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Candidate
- 8–10 years of experience in CNC Turning Center machine setting.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Experience in machining component manufacturing industry is preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
