Role Overview

Lead - Equity Advisor will be responsible for driving the firm’s equity investment views, generating short- to medium-term stock ideas, and managing equity model portfolios across client segments. The role requires robust bottom-up stock-picking skills, sectoral understanding, and the ability to bridge institutional-quality research with wealth management portfolio needs. The incumbent will also act as the primary interface with institutional research teams to source, evaluate, and curate investment ideas.

Key Responsibilities

Equity Research & Stock Selection
- Generate high-conviction short- to medium-term equity investment ideas based on fundamental analysis, sectoral trends, earnings outlook, and valuation frameworks.
- Conduct in-depth company and sector research covering financials, business models, competitive positioning, management quality, and key risks.
- Track corporate developments, results,



and market news to proactively refine investment views.

Model Portfolio Management
- Design, maintain, and periodically rebalance equity model portfolios aligned to different risk-return objectives and investment styles.
- Ensure portfolio construction reflects diversification, liquidity considerations, and risk management principles.
- Monitor portfolio performance, attribution, and downside risks on an ongoing basis.

Institutional Research Liaison
- Liaise closely with institutional research teams at equity broking houses and research partners to access sector reports, company notes, and thematic ideas.
- Filter, validate, and adapt institutional research insights for relevance to wealth management clients.
- Participate in analyst interactions, management meets, and earnings calls as required.

Client & Advisory Support
- Support relationship managers and advisors with equity views, stock rationales, and portfolio positioning.
