Role Description
This is a full-time, remote probono role for a Law Enforcement Officer supporting HackHalt Cyber Intelligence Council’s cybercrime prevention and response initiatives.
The individual in this role will collaborate with internal teams and external law enforcement bodies to review cyber incident reports, support digital evidence handling, and advise on lawful procedures for investigations. Daily tasks may include contributing to cybercrime case assessments, offering guidance on criminal investigations and physical security considerations, and helping design protocols that align with applicable laws and regulations. The role also involves participating in knowledge-sharing activities, such as drafting best-practice guidelines, supporting training programs, and providing strategic input on law enforcement and public safety aspects of cyber operations. While the position is probono, it offers opportunities to contribute to impactful work, expand cyber law expertise, and engage with a global network of partners.
