As part of our expansion strategy, we are looking for an experienced professional to lead franchise development and retail expansion initiatives.
Role Overview :
The Business Development Head – Franchise will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and onboarding franchise partners to expand the Blu Diamonds retail network. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in franchise development within the jewellery or retail industry and possess excellent business networking and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive franchise expansion across identified markets.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential franchise partners.
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, exhibitions, and referrals.
- Conduct market research and location feasibility studies for current stores.
- Present franchise business models, investment plans, and ROI proposals.
- Lead commercial negotiations and close franchise agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams for seamless franchise onboarding and store launches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise partners throughout the lifecycle.
- Track expansion pipeline, sales targets, and business performance through MIS reports.
- Represent Blu Diamonds at exhibitions and industry networking events.
Key Requirements :
- 8+ years of experience in Franchise Development, Retail Expansion, or Busines Development
- Prior experience in the jewellery, luxury retail, or lifestyle industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of franchise acquisition and retail expansion.
- Strong network within the jewellery retail ecosystem is an advantage.
